▸ Work with me

Let's build something.

Senior backend, software architect, AI engineer. Booked weekly, but I keep slots for serious projects. Two ways to start — email me, or book a 15-min intro.

01

How a typical engagement starts.

Three small steps, then we're either building or you have a clear no. Both outcomes are useful.

  1. Send a short email

Couple of paragraphs. Problem, rough timeline, link to the product if it exists. No big spec needed.

  2. 15-min intro call

Free. We see if it's a fit — scope, stack, stakes, my honest take on whether I'm the right person.

  3. Scoped proposal

Within 48h: phased plan, milestones, deliverables, fixed price or weekly retainer — your pick.

02

Pick a lane to make scoping easy.

Most clients pick one. Some stack two. All are scoped and time-boxed.

03

Best for. Not for.

Saves both of us a call. Honesty up front.

Best for

  • Founders shipping a Laravel SaaS MVP
  • Teams stuck on multi-tenant architecture
  • Shopify Plus brands needing custom apps
  • Agencies adding AI features without an in-house ML team
  • CTOs wanting an honest architecture audit
  • Existing apps fighting Octane / queues / observability

Not for

  • Pure WordPress / no-code work
  • Mobile-only native apps
  • Pixel-perfect static landing-page sprints
  • Crypto / NFT projects

FAQ.

Questions clients ask before they hit send. Rates, contracts and engagement terms are answered on the services page.

  • Are you available right now?

I keep 1–2 senior slots open per quarter. Current status sits in the badge at the top of this page — if it says Open, I have capacity.

  • What should the first email actually say?

Two or three paragraphs is plenty: what you're building, what's broken or missing, a rough timeline, and a link if the product already exists. No spec, no NDA-first, no discovery form. If I need more I'll ask on the call.

  • What happens after I book the intro call?

Fifteen minutes, camera optional. We cover scope, stack, and stakes, and I give you a straight answer on fit. If it's a yes, a written proposal with phases, milestones and pricing lands within 48h. If it's a no, I'll usually point you at someone better suited.

  • Will you take an equity-only project?

Only if I'm already convinced — cap-table fit, founder fit, traction. Cash + equity hybrids: open to discussing. Pure equity: rare.

  • Can I see code samples?

Shipped work is on the work page, and open-source contributions are on GitHub. Client code is under NDA, but I'm happy to walk through architecture decisions and trade-offs live on a call.

  • What about rates, contracts, and time zones?

All answered on the services page — fixed-scope pricing, weekly retainers, NDAs and statements of work, and the EU / US-East overlap windows I keep.

Other channels.

Email is fastest. Everything else still works.
