The problem
Agentic shopping only works if the catalog is legible to a model. Most Shopify product data is written for humans and Google — sparse attributes, messy titles, missing GTINs, zero structure an agent can trust when it has to compare SKUs and check out.
What I built
- A Shopify app that rewrites and enriches catalog fields into LLM-readable shapes without breaking the storefront copy merchants already like.
- UPC / GTIN compliance checks via the Catalog API so agent surfaces don’t choke on incomplete identifiers.
- AI-traffic analytics so merchants can see when agents (not just browsers) are hitting product data.
- Embedded admin UI with App Bridge + Polaris — lives where merchants already work.
How it works
Laravel backend, GraphQL Admin + Catalog API for reads/writes, Claude for structured enrichment passes with guardrails so generated fields stay reviewable. Merchants approve before anything ships to the live catalog.
The result
Catalogs that agents can actually shop against — structured fields, identifiers that validate, and a clear view of AI-driven discovery traffic. Built for the agentic commerce wave, not a demo storefront.
